In March 2007 the German television channel ZDF began broadcasting 15-minute episodes of a mini series loosely based on Stanislaw Lem's "Star Diaries". The stars of the show are Oliver Jahn as protagonist and Nora Tschirner as Analoge Halluzinelle. The series, which portrays Tichy travels in a "three-room rocket" resembling a French press on the outside, and a 70s apartment on the inside, retains the spirit of Lem's "Star Diaries". The show was made available on internet in streaming video. It has also appeared on DVD, both in Germany and in Poland. The polish edition, dubbed among others by Maciej Stuhr and Edyta Jungowska, was available only as an addition to [[Botched Detective Story Polish Agora SA 2009|The Botched Detective Story]], published in 2009.
