This paperback cover of Stanislaw Lem's Novel Return from the Stars was published in the Cold War Era in the Year 1982 in the United Kingdom.

In the background one can see the city right inside the space terminal, optically enhanced upward as to not give the inhabitants the feeling of living in levels.
