Description
This swedish edition, which appeared in the same year as the initial release of this book, which was the only novel Lem every accepted an advance for, must have been planned by the publishers to have been able to be sold in the same year the original (in polish?) novel was written.
During that year Lem had fled Poland because martial law had been declared there due to Lech Walesas actions with the miners trade union solidarnosc.
