Altain

Altain is the name of a stub-character in Stanislaw Lem's Novel Eden.

History

His ship got lost (from the time the expedition crash lands on Eden, its 12 years before), which means he must have been the captain of a rocket.

A unmanned probe was sent out and passed Eden, however without ever landing on it.
